Reporting standard occupational classification codes or job titles
(Employment Security Department) In 2020, the Legislature enacted Substitute House Bill 2308, which requires employers to include the Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) code or job title of each worker in their quarterly tax reports to the Employment Security Department.
Copies of the proposed rules have now been filed and a preliminary Cost-Benefit Analysis is available on the Department’s web page. We are accepting feedback through September 29, 2022 at email@example.com.
