Potential lawsuits offer reminder of new job-posting law – As described in a recent Seattle Times article, several employers in the state are facing proposed class-action lawsuits accusing them of failing to disclose salary information on job postings.
This is a good opportunity to remind AGCW members of the new law that went into effect earlier this year. The law requires companies with more than 15 employees to include a wage-scale and benefits information on a job posting.
L&I offers free consultation to help employers comply with the law. For more information about the law and the consultation offer, click here.
