Become an industry leader through professional-development events
Construction in Washington continues to flourish with the help of strong leadership and the AGC of Washington.
To ensure an equally successful future, it is important for the next group of leaders to develop and prepare themselves for the future challenges of the industry. AGC of Washington recognized the need for a forum that focuses on next-generation leaders and provides an avenue to their involvement with the AGC. In 2007, AGC's Future Leadership Forum (FLF) was created and in 2017 became the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) to align itself with AGC of America.
CLC activities are open to all early and mid-career construction-industry professionals employed by an AGC member firm or enrolled as a Young Constructor member (see below) of the AGC of Washington. To get on the mailing list for future activities and events, email Andrew Ledbetter.

YOUNG CONSTRUCTOR MEMBERSHIP
Are you an employee of a non-member company, but would like to take part in AGC events? Now you can, if you are an individual who is entering or developing a career in construction management with a General Contractor that is not an AGC of Washington member. For only $100 a year per person, you can take part in all AGC activities.
CLC SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Contact Andrew Ledbetter to find out how your firm can sponsor CLC activities.
You won’t find a garment as widely embraced, worn and loved as jeans. Their reliability and durability have always supported the men and women in the construction industry, and now AGC’s Construction Leadership Council (CLC) will pass along the gift of dependable clothing to Washington’s youth in foster care.
Join AGC’s CLC for our (competitive!) jean drive in support of Treehouse. One AGC member will take the title of largest contributor and receive some well-deserved recognition and some awesome perks, too, at CLC’s BIG EVENT in July.
There are two ways
you can get involved:
1. BUY JEANS!
The jeans drive starts on June 1, 2018. Donations need to be delivered to the AGC Building (1200 Westlake Ave N, Suite 301 Seattle, WA 98109) no later than August 20, 2018. Please include your company name when delivering donations. Treehouse needs jeans of ALL SIZES! Treehouse serves infants to 24 years old.
2. DONATE HERE!
Treehouse has created a donation portal through their website. If you do donate online, please let Andrew Ledbetter know so we can properly allocate these donations in the competition.
If you have any questions regarding where to deliver donations, how to donate or general jean drive questions, please reach out to Shannon Benya or Andrew Ledbetter.
