Hiring - Performance Management - Complaints - Leave/Accomodation Requests - Seperations

These five zones of management have always been a challenge. How you handle these interactions with an employee can decide whether you spend the next years in litigation or with a happy employee. And with the new state leave and healthy start laws, things just got more complicated in the area of leave and accommodation requests.

Join us on Tuesday, April 23, as we explore common mistakes made in each of these zones and discuss best management practices to keep you and your company OFF of the Highway to these Danger Zones and taking the Exit to Easy Street.

If interested in attending in-person at the Seattle AGC building, please register here.

Presenter: Elizabeth Van Moppes
Counsel, Beresford Booth, PLLC

A substantial portion of my practice is devoted to providing services as an independent workplace investigator. I am an Association of Workplace Investigators Certificate Holder, an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited certificate.

I frequently speak and train for my clients and various national and local Human Resource and Employee Relations interest groups on topics related to workplace management including the critical skills managers need for performance management, professionalism, and diversity and inclusion awareness. I pride myself on creating and facilitating seminars that provide the practical tools necessary to a workplace's daily operations while highlighting the vital importance of self-awareness to a successful manager. I also work hard to keep attendees awake throughout the entire presentation.
