Paid Family/Medical Leave seminar - BellinghamAdd to Calendar
Washington State’s new Paid Family Medical Leave law means that Washington is the fifth state in the nation to offer paid family and medical leave benefits to employees.
This program, which is funded by employer and employee premiums, commenced on January 1, 2019. Although premium payments are now required, eligibility for benefits takes effect in 2020.
Richard Davis from the Bellingham law firm of Chmelik, Sitkin & Davis, P.S. will explain this new law, what it means for employers, and the developments that employers can expect to see over the course of the next year as this law takes effect. Attend this presentation, FREE to AGC members, to learn what you need to do to comply with the law and the steps you can take to be ready for its launch.
