Employment Security Department schedules additional SOC-code webinars – All employers will be required to report SOC codes when they submit their quarterly tax reports, starting with their fourth-quarter 2022 report. Do you have questions about Standard Occupational Classification (SOC) codes? Due to popular demand, ESD has scheduled three additional SOC-code webinars.
SOC is a federal coding system that helps government agencies and private businesses compare occupational data. Reporting SOC codes is currently optional and is available only to those filing for a single employer. Starting with your fourth quarter 2022 tax report, all employers will be required to report SOC codes when they submit their quarterly tax reports.
