1. DES switching to statewide small works roster through MRSC
DES is switching to the statewide small works roster hosted by the Municipal Research and Services Center (MRSC) July 1.
Reminder: administrative pause June 17-30
To prepare for the change, DES is pausing new small-works opportunities from June 17 to June 30.
- Firms should register now for the statewide small-works roster and add DES for each county they serve.
- As of July 1, DES will no longer use its existing roster, and will only send new opportunities to firms on the statewide MRSC roster.
- The MRSC registration is for prime contractors only at this time.
2. DES launching online bidding for small-works contracting
Online bidding is coming to DES’ small-works roster. To make it easier to bid on small-works opportunities, DES is moving small-works bidding online through Bonfire interactive on July 1. Firms can register now for online bidding (Bonfire) to make sure they’re ready to go.
