Another banner year for AGC Retro: $82.5M in group refunds

AGCW districts celebrate $82.5M in Group Retro refunds

AGC of Washington’s Group Retro members in each district will celebrate $82.5 million in collective premium refund for the three years in the adjustment cycle. The first event will be on Friday, June 7 at 9:00 a.m. at the Yakima Country Club (prior to the golf tournament), Thursday, June 13 at 8:00 a.m. at Bellingham Golf & Country Club, and Friday, June 14 at 8:00 a.m. at the Hilton DoubleTree Suites at South Center. To register for breakfast, please email Linda@agcwa.com.

“This year, our top performers are earning net refunds of 50% or more in each of the three years. These impressive and consistent refund results reflect the caliber of our members, their shared commitment to instilling a culture of safety from the ‘top-down and bottom-up,’ and their up-front investments to keep injured employees on salary and light-duty work,” said Lauren Gubbe, program director. “These same efforts to keep employees safe while they work also lead to lower insurance costs for both company and employees while helping companies retain their teams as many jobs are won or lost on small margins.”

June 17 is the deadline for qualifying for enrollment in the new plan year beginning 7/1/24.  To see if your company would qualify for participation, click here. https://www.agcwa.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/05/AGCW-2024-25-Retro-Release.pdf
