Each year the Bremerton Chamber of Commerce presents the prestigious Thunderbird Award to leaders in the community who have shown a deep commitment to the overall prosperity of Kitsap County. This year recently retired Port of Bremerton CEO Ken Attebery became one of the fortunate few who have won the award. Attebery was roasted by the Chamber at the event and the over 200 people in attendance enjoyed themselves immensely. Not only has the Port of Bremerton contracted with several AGC members over the years but longtime AGC member James Robinson won the award in the mid-1980s. In addition AGC Southern District Manager Tim Attebery was able to provide strong roasting material on his dad.
