The much-anticipated stimulus plan is here-so what does this mean for Washington contractors? A special presentation by Stanislaw Ashbaugh and AGC of Washington is in the works.
With the Presidents signing of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 the federal government has made $48 billion available to states for infrastructure spending and estimates put Washingtons share at over $746 million with additional state spending promised by the Governor.
Stanislaw Ashbaugh has teamed up with AGC of Washington to actively track the latest developments regarding how and where this federal and state funding will be spent throughout the state. From roads and bridges to transportation water and sewer Washington contractors will undoubtedly be busy in the coming months bidding and building Washington infrastructure projects.
Accordingly Stanislaw Ashbaugh will be providing statewide seminars at local AGC offices to provide contractors with the latest information regarding where and how the money will be spent-and most importantly-what contractors can expect in terms of bidding and building these projects.
These seminars will be provided free of charge and are invaluable to Washington contractors. Stay tuned for the latest information for the Stanislaw Ashbaugh/AGC seminar coming to your area.
