The AGC negotiating team has reached a tentative agreement with the Operating Engineers. It is anticipated that the Operators ratification vote will be completed and counted by July 1st with wage and fringe increases retroactive to 6/1/15. With this settlement all negotiations are complete. All agreements are for a three-year term effective 6/1/15 through 5/31/18 with wage and fringe packages in the 3% per-year range.
While language changes were minimal there are a few common elements — most notably the agreement to waive the City of Tacoma paid-leave ordinance. Updated wage and fringe summaries are available here. Updated contracts will be posted as soon as the final language has been verified and contracts signed.
