The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Washington is the state's
largest and most influential trade association that represents and
provides services to the commercial construction industry. The AGC of
Washington has more than 600 member companies, 172 of which are general
contractors, and has significant programs involving government and labor
relations, group insurance, workplace safety, workforce development,
and more. Headquartered in Seattle with offices in Bellingham, Fife,
Olympia, and Yakima, the AGC of Washington is a professional association
of commercial contractors who join together to enhance the performance
and representation of members, to promote the respect and integrity of
the industry, and to improve the quality of life in our communities.
One of 96 chapters of AGC of America , the AGC of Washington
exercises jurisdiction over building, heavy, municipal and utility,
marine, industrial and highway construction in that portion of the State
of Washington west of the 120th Meridian, except the five-and-one-half
counties of southwest Washington, namely, Klickitat, Skamania, Clark,
Cowlitz, and Wahkiakum and the portion of Pacific County south of a
straight line made by extending the north boundary line of Wahkiakum
County west to the Pacific Ocean. |
